ALF O E-TEIMOSO

Alf é um extraterrestre do planeta Melmac e vai parar na terra devido a um defeito em sua espaçonave. Seu planeta havia explodido e Alf ficou perdido no espaço após a fuga. Ele faz uma aterrissagem forçada no quintal da família Tanner e acaba ficando por lá mesmo. Alf tem uma personalidade sarcástica, é irônico e adora comer gatos. Seu cérebro fica localizado no ouvido. Os vizinhos não sabem da existência de Alf no seio da família Tanner, mas ele não se constrange com isso e apronta a todo momento com a vizinhança e com os Tanners. William, o pai da família, é o que mais sofre com as agruras de Alf. Uma vez na vida os habitantes de Melmac entram no cio e ficam extremamente violentos. Quando aconteceu isso com Alf ele teve que ficar trancado em um quarto até a situação se acalmar.

A série foi criada em 1986 e teve 4 temporadas, saindo do ar em 1988. Ela foi indicada para 12 prêmios Emmy mas nunca ganhou nenhum. No Brasil, a série foi transmitida inicialmente pela Rede Globo, nos anos 80 e pela Rede Bandeirantes, nos anos 90.
